Greengage is proud of our work on the rooftop and terrace at The Eagle, a 33-story residential development located in Downtown Brooklyn. A multifaceted project, we transformed the building’s outdoor spaces with our signature custom-tailored approach. During the planting phase at The Eagle, we installed cast-in-place concrete curbing and aluminum edging, forming the planting beds. We planted certified-organic vegetables using recycled plastic lumber for residents to enjoy. On the ground level, Greengage used synthetic grass designed specifically for dogs; on the roof, we constructed a 450-foot wood screen from aluminum posts and cumaru for privacy and noise control. Topping out at 33 floors, the rooftop garden affords amazing views. Adding to the building’s sustainable features, we installed custom recycled plastic lumber planters containing allotment gardens in the second-floor amenity space.
